Use 640×480 video resolution for Skype (Mac)

If you’re using the latest version of Skype for Mac (2.5) you will be able to use high-resolution video (640×480) during your Skype calls. Great if you have a high-speed internet connection (video and phone needs about 25KB/s upstream).

The quality looks indeed a little nicer even though in our tests it turned out to be a little unstable. But that might have been the Wifi’s fault, not Skype’s.

Any idea if they will ever add video support to Skype for Linux? Booting up the old VMware just for video calls kinda sucks. Maybe I should look into getting a Mac…
