I got the 40D at a very reasonable price and think it was the right decision not to pay the additional 500 Euros for the 50D. That lens is very nice, Martin! That one is also on my wish list. :D And I am also thinking about getting a battery grip for the 40D, too. I already miss the vertical shutter button.
