Toys for Boys (Part I)
I just had the new Sony StorStation LIB-81 tape library delivered. It can load up to eight 200 GB AIT-4 tapes and (as I figured out during the “look inside”) has a barcode scanner that might significantly speed up the tape detection process.
Now I only need to make some space in the 19-inch rack as I do also want to install the XServe RAID at the same time.
