Geholfen hat’s leider nichts, scheinbar wird das Dateisystem auf der verwendeten DVD-RAM nicht korrekt erzeugt. mkudffs läuft zwar ohne Fehler durch, aber das Dateisystem kann ich dann trotzdem nicht einhängen. Vermutlich ist dann doch einfach die Scheibe defekt. Da es sich um ein off-site System handelt, kann ich aber leider nicht mal eben nachschauen. Das muss dann wohl bis morgen warten.

Dat war so klar. Aber passt ja wenigstens. Is wahr. Schließlich habe ich drei Jahre in Friedrichshain verbracht. War schön da.

Sollte ich dem Quiz allerdings persönlich Glauben schenken, war ich da aber vollkommen falsch:

Du arbeitest in der Medienbranche und trinkst gerne Chai Latte und Bionade. Du bist kein Berliner sondern Schwabe/Bayer. Du hast einen Laptop von Apple und gehst gerne in den Bio Supermarkt. Deine Kinder heissen vermutlich Ole-Thorben und/oder Ute.

Kann auch sein, dass das nur damit zusammenhängt, dass ich a) nicht mehr in Berlin wohne und b) mittlerweile finanziell auf eigenen Beinen stehe. Studium vorbei, Job gesucht und gefunden. Meine Frau, mein Haus, mein Auto, … Naja, fast.

MOVING ON TO THE NEXT CHAPTER

I have decided to move on to my next challenge in the enterprise Java/SOA environment. I’ll transfer to the consulting department of Germany’s second-largest software vendor, Software AG. My office will still be in Stuttgart but you’ll most likely find me on duty at a customer site in southern Germany.

GOOGLE LATITUDE HAS BEEN BROKEN FOR DAYS...

For a few days, I have been unable to connect to Google Latitude on my mobile phone. Dr. Schäuble will not be amused.

Other services such as Web, E-Mail, IRC, SSH – “everything else requiring a data connection” – do work on my phone, as does the “regular” map service of the Google Maps Mobile app. Latitude shows up correctly on iGoogle, too.

Update: At least, I am not alone with this problem. No solution in sight, though. 🙁
