BACK IN GOOD OL' GERMANY

Well, I have to say I liked the weather in California much better. 39 °F at 9:00 am. Brrr.
MY LAST HOURS IN CALIFORNIA
Unfortunately today is my last day in the U.S. as I’m flying back to Frankfurt/Germany tonight.
I had a fantastic time in the Silicon Valley and met lots of lovely people with whom I spend amazing time working, traveling, and hanging out together. Now it’s time to go back to Germany, graduate from university within the next months and look for a job opportunity.
Thanks for everything, folks! I’m gonna to miss you!
BEATUS ILLE, QUI PROCUL NEGOTIIS.
It’s not that I didn’t enjoy working for the DaimlerChrysler company (now known as Daimler AG) – in fact, I had a fantastic time during the last years, both in Germany and the U.S. offices. But I really think that the process of the “divorce” will cause some trouble here and there. Like in real life. Between human beings.
BOOKING A UNITED FLIGHT USING A FOREIGN BILLING ADDRESS
United Airlines seems to have some problems getting a foreign (in this case German) address right when you’re booking a flight. So we just move the beautiful town of Biberach to the beautiful State of California.
Could we actually do that in real life? I’d kind of appreciate it very much!
THINGS TO DO IN VEGAS
[
(my last trip before I leave the States and return to Germany) brought me to WikiTravel and a very interesting list of what to do in Vegas:
- Gamble
- Get married
Ehm. I don’t really enjoy gambling and I’m already married – what else is there to do in Vegas? I plan on taking some pictures (especially night shots).
